Introduction to economics seeks to achieve general goals, through the content that we will review later, specifically for first-year bachelor’s students, prepared within the ministerial standard. The course contains eleven theoretical chapters, beginning with The conceptual framework of economics and its relationship to political economy and other sciences and ending with International Economic Organizations and Regional trade blocs.

Enabling the student to understand the importance of economics as a stand-alone science and to understand its major problems and the global institutions based on it.

The student needs rational thinking and deduction to understand this course, in addition to gains from the following courses: Microeconomics, an introduction to the sociology of organizations
