
This course is taught to foreign students of economics, commerce, and management sciences in the 3rd semester of the bachelor's degree.
It provides students with a structured understanding of monetary theory and practice, and examines the historical evolution of money—from barter systems and commodity-based exchange to modern monetary forms—while emphasizing the functions of money within the economy.
It also develops students’ ability to analyze the role of money in facilitating transactions, influencing economic activity, and shaping financial systems.
