    • Course Description

      This course offers an in-depth exploration of process management, a crucial aspect of operating systems. It provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms and strategies used to manage processes effectively. Throughout the course, students will delve into key concepts and techniques essential for ensuring efficient and reliable process execution in modern operating systems. The course covers the chapters like:

      • Mutual Exclusion.

      • Semaphores.

      • Monitors.

      • Deadlocks.

      By the end of the course, students will have a solid foundation in process management principles and techniques, enabling them to design and implement efficient process management strategies in real-world operating systems. The course combines theoretical knowledge with practical examples and hands-on exercises to ensure a well-rounded learning experience.
