The nature of economics and its relationship with political economy and other sciences.

First chapter

The economic problem: the concept of needs, resources, and means of satisfaction; how the economic problem is addressed by capitalism, socialism, and in Islam.

Second chapter

Factors of production: labor, land, capital, and organization.

Third chapter

Economic agents or economic units that provide economic activity.

Fourth chapter

Economic activity and economic processes: production, investment, exchange, consumption, and saving.

Fifth chapter

Economic enterprises: their concepts and definitions, classifications, and characteristics

Sixth chapter

The market: its concept, participants, types, and how prices are determined in different types of markets.

Seventh chapter

The economic system and economic policies.

Eighth chapter

Money: a historical overview of the emergence of money, concept and types of money, traditional and modern functions of money, and the role of money in economic and financial activities.

Ninth chapter

Major economic problems: inflation (its causes and economic policies to address it), unemployment (its types, causes, and economic policies to tackle it).

Tenth chapter

International economic institutions and regional economic blocs: the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank (IBRD), the World Trade Organization (WTO), the European Union (EU), NAFTA, ASEAN, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and the Arab Maghreb Union (AMU).

المشكلة الاقتصادية: مفهوم الحاجة، الموارد ووسائل الإشباع، كيفية علاج المشكلة الاقتصادية من قبل الرأسمالية والاشتراكية وفي الإسلام.

المحور الثالث

عناصر الإنتاج: العمل، الطبيعة، رأس المال، التنظيم.

المحور الرابع

الأعوان الاقتصاديون أو الوحدات الاقتصادية التي توفر النشاط الاقتصادي.

المحور الخامس

النشاط الاقتصادي والعمليات الاقتصادية: الإنتاج، الاستثمار، التبادل، الاستهلاك. الادخار

المؤسسات الاقتصادية: مفاهيمها وتعريفاتها، تصنيفاتها وخصائصها.

المشكلات الاقتصادية الكبرى: التضخم (أسبابه والسياسات الاقتصادية لمواجهته)، البطالة (أنواعها وأسبابها والسياسات الاقتصادية لمواجهتها).

المؤسسات الاقتصادية الدولية والتكتلات الاقتصادية الجهوية: صندوق النقد الدولي، البنك العالمي، المنظمة العالمية للتجارة، الاتحاد الأوروبي، نافتا (NAFTA)، آسيان (ASEAN)، مجلس التعاون الخليجي، الاتحاد المغاربي.
