This course covers the fundamental aspects of viruses, including their structure , and their classification based on genetic material and replication strategies. It also explores the main stages of viral infection.
In addition, the course examines how viruses spread within the host and between individuals. Special attention is given to the immune response against viral infections and the mechanisms viruses use to evade immunity.
