This course aims at introducing how can a machine learn by shedding the light on various learning methods and their applications, the main goals of this course is to:
- Understand the basic concepts and principles of machine learning
- Learn about different machine learning algorithms and their applications
- Understand supervised/unsupervised learning methods and generative models in neural networks
- Gain hands-on experience in using machine learning tools and libraries
- Develop the ability to evaluate and compare machine learning models
- Apply machine learning techniques to real-world problems

This is an ESP (English with specific purposes) course for students studying in DBKM University, especially in the IABD master degree. Key features are language skills development focus, a task-based approach, and it provides opportunities for further listening in the lass in dealing with oral and written instructions.
- Grammar – Students will learn basic forms of English grammar including definite and undefinite articles and the phrasal verbs Students will practice these structures through communicative and functional activities.
Oral Communication – Through listening comprehension and oral performances, students will practice their communication skills. Students will learn to comprehend the main ideas in short passages, listen for specific details, engage in short conversations, report personal information and express opinions. - Reading Skills – Emphasis will be on vocabulary growth, comprehension and expression of the main idea. Students will develop study and reading skills such as pre-readin
- Writting Skills – Emphasis will be on the development of sentence structure and sentence variety to the paragraph level. Students will also be introduced to the paragraph form, including expression of the main idea in technical sentences.
